Nexus modernization services ensures smooth operation of an ageing Capacitor Bank and Static Var Generator / Compensator (SVG) and introduction of Active Harmonic Filter (AHF) by keeping the operation services cost under control. Lifetime and return on the investment for an ageing capacitor, SVG can be optimized by fully or partially replacing the active parts with thyristor-controlled switching system of capacitor bank. Active parts of an SVG includes thyristor valves, valve-based units, cooling systems and control and protection system.
